Conor Benn is not worried who he’ll face next month when he returns to action at The O2.
When he struggles about the Regis Prograis-Josh Taylor undercard on October 26, benn will probably be aiming for his 16th straight win, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
The Ilford welterweight has yet to find his opponent but insists regardless of that he shares the ring with there will just be one result.
“It’s mad, my career has been a rollercoaster. It feels like I’ve been a professional for a time. It has only been five decades but it’s been striking, it’s been so mad,” said Benn.
“I’ve been dropped two and managed to get up off the canvas and place the other opponent down twice and gone the 10 rounds. It is all these little matters. I’ve been cut, I’ve had accidents. I’m only 22, so it will not be nothing new to me, if I am 25, 26.
“As I get old man-strength is coming and people will get laid out clean. They ain’t going to be getting back up.
“My last fight was expected to be a difficult fight and when I looked at him I thought,’I’m in for a tough fight here, I’m bang in problem’, then he came out flying the first around and I thought,’here we go’, but I was able to get him out of there.
“If people want to return and have it with me, then I’ll have it back with them. So I ain’t really concerned about who they put in front of me if I move down they are going down to me.
“Whoever they place in front of me it’s going to be the exact identical outcome. I’m going to go in there and do one job and one job only.”
