Former Kerry star Mike Quirke is set to become the manager of the Laois senior footballers.
Laois Today are reporting that the four-time All-Ireland winner is set to become the Kerry native to carry the reins after Paul Galvin and Jack O’Connor took the Wexford and Kildare tasks.
Quirke will take more than John Sugrue, that oversaw promotions that are back-to-back . Sugrue also directed the side to round four of those qualifiers in championships.
Quirke becomes the fifth Kerry person to lead the O’Moore County Lately, following Tom??s ?? Flatharta, Liam Kearns, Mick O’Dwyer and Sugrue.
The club guy of Even the Kerins O’Rahilly will aim to keep the progress.
