Warrington fined after squad announcement infringement

Challenge Cup champions Warrington have been penalized for violating the rules squad statements ahead of the semi-final triumph over Hull, # 2,000.
The Wolves and England full-back Stefan Ratchford from the match played with in Bolton in July although not naming him in their initial squad and that he proceeded to kick three goals in a 22-14 victory.
Ratchford, that wasn’t due to return from a torn pectoral muscle for the following 3 weeks, was drafted in at short notice after winger Josh Charnley pulled out with a knee injury.
According to the functional principles of the Rugby Football League, clubs may make changes to the squads they declare two weeks beforehand in the event of injury or other Conditions
Applications have to be created as soon as they know a shift is necessary and have to be supported by a formal notification to the RFL.
The RFL states Warrington, who went on to conquer at St Helens in the final accept they neglected to advise them of the alterations within the timeframes and recommendations put out.
The decision to present squad announcements in advance was created after the 2004 betting scandal in which St Helens gamers Sean Long and Martin Gleeson backed their club to lose to Bradford from the understanding that a team would be fielded by their coach.
No comment has been made by warrington.
