Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hasn’t ruled out directing a team.
Later winning seven FA Cups and three Premier League titles after almost 22 years at the club the Frenchman left North London in 2018.
Wenger has been linked across Europe, for example ahead of the new Premier League season at Newcastle after the death of Rafael Benitez.
And when beIN Sports asked the 69-year-old whether he could watch himself at the forefront because a spectator or trying to find a team, Wenger said:”I could envision myself working for a team.
“I shall have sufficient time (also ) space with my last job (to give me perspective), and I wouldn’t be contrary to that.
“I have to say I always wished to visit the World Cup (finals) because I believed it is the job of a supervisor to be the best football players in the world play soccer.
“Hopefully, you will see me, touch timber in Qatar in three years’ time”
Wenger went on to say he’d refused”some nice offers” because he did not yet feel prepared for a return into the game, but added:”You may see me in a dugout again, when, I don’t know precisely.”
Wenger said:”I cannot live with the fact that I shall not be on the seat again. I might go for a intermediate position.
“What I want for certain is to discuss what I know, and what I’ve learnt as far as I can in this match.
“I want to experience one more time the level of the competition.”
