Following the colt ran Favorable Stakes andrew Balding is looking forward to stepping up Kameko in distance.
The Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes over a mile at Newmarket on September 28 is the target of Kitten’s Joy, following a performance of Terrific credit despite his inexperience.
He has earned the right to go up to Group Two company thanks to a nice effort on his second career in regular start that saw him end with a boom.
“I was very happy with him. He’s come from the race very well and we will consider the Royal Lodge,” said Balding.
“He is in that, so it will be a consideration. A mile would surely suit him.”
