New England Patriots have set veteran kicker Stephen Gostkowski.
In order to make him available for the 2020 season, gostkowski will call for operation for a injury.

Gostkowski is in his 14th year as the kicker of New England however he struggled this season, missing four attempts in 15 tries. He created 7-of-8 field-goal attempts, with a long of 41.
The 35-year-old has helped the Patriots win three Super Bowls since the team selected him for a substitute for Adam Vinatieri, who’d abandoned to the Indianapolis Colts.
“Whoever the next man is that comes in here, he does not need to attempt to be Steve, does not need to attempt to be Adam Vinatieri,” Patriots special teams captain Matthew Slater said.
“He just has to be himself. He will be here for a reason, which reason will be the coach Bill Belichick believes he’s going to give us the best opportunity to help this team win.”
Gostkowski has generated 374-of-428 field-goal attempts (87.4 percent ) in his profession, including 25-of-35 in 50-plus yards. He is a Pro Bowl selection and was chosen first-team All-Pro at 2015 and 2008. He hasn’t missed a game because 2010.
