Anapurna profited from another journey that was fine by Frankie Dettori to obtain another Group One victory of the season from the Prix de Royallieu.
The John Gosden-trained filly showed the courage and determination that had witnessed her succeed from the Oaks at Epsom earlier in this season, but she had had one outing since that success, when beaten in the Prix Vermeille won by her own stablemate Star Catcher.
Dettori was about the winner that afternoon, but he was reunited with Anapurna now and bounced into an early lead.
Dettori was able to dictate the pace to his liking, as hes done so several times around the Paris track, however, Anapurna had to fend off multiple rivals.
The persistent challenger has been stablemate Lah Ti Dar and once she started to fade another Clarehaven inmate, Enbihaar, began to make advancement from the back together with Aidan OBriens Delphina.
Every time it seemed like Anapurna was starting to tire, however, she managed to locate somewhat more and demonstrated the excursion wasnt any problem.
Adhering to a question, the stewards left the outcome unchanged, although there was a little scrimmaging on the run together with Delphina seeming to come off worst.
