Cristiano Ronaldo admits that he felt”ashamed” by allegations he raped a woman in vegas.

The investigation was closed in 2009 but reopened in August soon before a civil lawsuit filed in September. She said she had obtained the courage to speak out because of this #MeToo movement.
Prosecutors announced in July that they would not be prosecuting the case as the allegations couldn’t”be proven beyond a reasonable doubt”.
The civil case remains available against the footballer.
Ronaldo admits the allegations have taken a toll .
“They play with your own dignity,” Ronaldo told’Good Morning Britain’ in a meeting with Piers Morgan which will air Tuesday.
“It’s hard. You’ve got a girlfriend, you just have a household, you’ve got kids. It’s bad when they perform together with your honesty, it is hard.
“I remember one day I had been at home in the living area with my buddy watching the television to find the information and they talk about’Cristiano Ronaldo that.’
“I listened to my kids coming down the staircase and that I changed the station because I was humiliated.
“I simply changed the channel for Cristiano Jr not to find they talk bad about his father about a very bad case.”
During the interview, Ronaldo became emotional when talking about his father away aged 52 from 2005 two decades later he joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon.

“I never watched that movie. Unbelievable,” Ronaldo said. “I feel that the interview could be funny, but I didn’t expect to shout. However, these pictures were never seen by me. I really don’t know where you… I have to have these pictures to demonstrate my family.
“I really don’t know my dad 100 percent. He was a drunk person. I never talked with him. It was hard.
“To be the number one and he don’t see , and he do not see to get awards, to see exactly what I became.”
