Brighton ahead Leandro Trossard may not be back in action until after the upcoming break that is international.
The 24-year-old picked up an injury in practice while he had been off on international duty.
He had to miss Belgium’s European Qualifier against Scotland and – having made a promising start to his own Premier League career – .
Brighton manager Graham Potter said:”It’s early stages with Leandro but he has felt something in his groin.
“We don’t think that it is as bad as originally thought.
“He’s obviously not likely to be readily available for the weekend and another side of the upcoming international break is probably what we’re planning for today.
“At the early stage, it’s hard to put a lot more of a timescale on it”
Trossard was signed by brighton in the summer from Genk and that he opened his account for the club in a 1-1 draw against West Ham.
Has been named in the group four times although he has still to make his international debut.
Brighton return to Premier League action and they also have matches against Newcastle, Chelsea and Spurs ahead of the second round of international action.
