The first full slate of college football games on a Saturday is upon us and it feels like the smell of cut grass. You seeing over 50 matches and might be looking at your book, getting overwhelmed and heading back into bed. I’ve made choices on five games which may??help it become a bit more easy for you.
Without further ado, here are my five favorite college football stakes for Saturday
This line has been moving down all week which has left me a happy person. I expected some motion in another direction after the injury to Alabama center linebacker Dylan Moses, who’s basically the quarterback of the defense. Meanwhile, running springs Najee Harris and Brian Robinson is going to likely be frozen for the first half of this match, while that will detour individuals, this intrigues me as I’m convinced coach Nick Saban will need some full-team repetitions with Tua Tagovailoa at the second half allowing more opportunities to rack up the score.
Alabama averaged 45.6 points per game last year and using the Tagovailoa/Jerry Jeudy link, I anticipate another offensive juggernaut at 2019, although the lack of Moses to the defensive side of the ball could create some gaps early on this Duke may have the ability to harness and find some offense to help the OVER.
That the Texas Longhorns have dropped to unranked teams and that has frightened me away from financing them in the first stages of 2019. That said I have a lot of confidence at the crime of the Longhorns and quarterback Sam Ehlinger’s continuing development. Texas’ offense has a coordinator and ought to be able to flex its muscles from an LA Tech team which has to replace its line.
It takes two to tango and like the Bulldogs’ defensive linethat the Longhorns have a new-look defense as well after finding success on that side of the ball in 2018. There are eight starters out of 2018 that are not on the group this year, so there will be some growing pains with this young, albeit, talented defense along with victory should be found by the veteran offense of LA Tech.
I have been a small bullish on Michigan going in to the 2019 season coming from an Ohio State fan. That is the fifth season with the Wolverines, no more excuses of Jim Harbaugh, this is the group that you’ve constructed and I believe they get the year started off with a bang. Last season, have a seasoned veteran team and Michigan had four wins of 35 points or more.
The Blue Raiders played one ranked Week 3 in Georgia, squad last season, and was swarmed 49-7. Josh Gattis is your new offensive coordinator for the Wolverines and should spark some life into what appeared to be a small stale crime at times this past year. Michigan will be among the top colleges in the nation and winning from more or 35 in Week 1 shouldn’t come as any surprise.
The game of college soccer’s Week 1 schedule has a pair of teams clubbed in AT&T Stadium in Texas. There’s a whole lot of hype Oregon and its quarterback Justin Herbert heading into 2019, and rightfully so. The senior threw for over 3,000 yards with 29 touchdowns and eight interceptions as his Ducks finished 9-4, including a triumph over Michigan State in the Redbox Bowl.
True freshman Bo Nix is poised to turn heads for Auburn. The two true freshmen to start for a Power Five group both went to win the championship in Trevor Lawrence at 2019 and Tua Tagovailoa in 2018 I’m not stating Auburn will win the name that Nix is no joke. Furthermore there has already been seven matchups with teams along with the home team is 5-2 SU and ATS in those games. Lastly, the Pac-12 for a street team vs the SEC can be 6-13 SU 8-10-1 ATS and hasn’t had a win since 2009.
I needed to have one underdog on the listing and I am looking at the West Coast with this particular one. The Huskies are bringing in Eastern Washington for its first evaluation in an FCS squad and the lineup reflects the disparity between the colleges. I think that is a lineup good enough to leap with??the Eagles coming off a strong showing in 2018.
Eastern Washington had the fourth-best offense in the FCS and seemed at the FCS domestic championship match, but lost to North Dakota State. They have nine starters returning along with the program previously has been shown to be tough against Washington. Meanwhile, the Huskies have a quarterback , new running overall and back had to substitute nine starters. Washington ranked 88th in offense this past year and may stumble from the gate mixed with the Eagles’ high-octane offense and that’s why I’m backing Eastern Washington.
