Nicky Henderson has warned plans are fluid for Altior amid talk of a clash with Cyrname in the Christy 1965 Chase in Ascot at November.

“I’ve got a enormous amount of admiration for Cyrname and I’m not afraid to take him with Altior, however it is by no means certain they will meet from the Ascot Chase as many have indicated and there’s no doubt we’ll do what is suitable for your horse.
“Altior is back Seven Barrows and cantering away well so everything is going well and when we’ve made a determination about where he will begin his period, I’ll let you know!”
