MGM is making a couple of modifications .
Owner MGM Resorts International explained these changes are being built to the rewards program to provide more consistency.
Effective Oct. 1, MGM is first aligning how it calculates Express Comps across all MGM possessions. In actuality, MGM will adopt the way it is performed at Borgata across the usa.
That means all of M life Benefits destinations will calculate Express Comps predicated on time played, average bet and game type.
This calculation process is used for table games. It’s also used for slots at MGM National Harbor Borgata, also MGM Springfield. After Oct. 1 it will be used throughout the board in MGM possessions for the two table and slots games.
MGM is also currently standardizing M lifestyle Gains’ room rate discount whatsoever properties.
That usually means all of M life Rewards members will be eligible for 10 percent off room rates starting Oct. 1. MGM started this standardization in July of this year at its Las Vegas possessions. MGM is now rolling it out in all life Gains destinations that are M, including Borgata in Atlantic City.
Finally, MGM is quitting the POINTPlay money out it.
That means M life Rewards members in MGM Grand Detroit.
Formerly, MGM Grand Detroit has been the MGM property that provided this salvation option. Effective Oct. 1, M lifetime Rewards members will have to convert POINTPlay things into Express Comps.
MGM reported these changes are part of an attempt to guarantee the bull life Gains program’s long-term success. Participants’ individual Express Comps accounts won’t change as a result.
