Captain Mohammad Naveed is one of three United Arab Emirates gamers after being charged under the International Cricket Council’s anti-corruption code to have been suspended.
Naveed faces multiple charges, including an arrangement to”fix or contrive” matches in the approaching World Twenty20 qualifiers.
While batsman Shaiman Anwar faces two fellow seamer Qadeer Ahmed has been charged with six breaches of the code.
They have until 30 October to react.
Mehardeep Chhayakar, explained by the ICC as”a participant in cricket in [the Emirate of] Ajman”, continues to be charged with one violation of the ICC code.
Along with two charges under the ICC code, Naveed is also charged for its national T10 League with two breaches of the Emirates Cricket Board Code.
The UAE and Oman on Friday play with at the first of six World Twenty20 qualifiers taking place in the nation this month.
