Champions League of Darts debutant Gerwyn Price set a semi-final meeting with Michael van Gerwen following the Welshman won his final type game.
Price beat Daryl Gurney 10-6 at Sundays afternoon session, which removed the Northern Irishman.
Another semi-final will visit Peter Wright and Michael Smith play.
Although Smith beat James Wade to qualify, wright, who moved through to the previous four to Saturday, won his final team game against Rob Cross.
The PDC championship, which is being screened by the BBC, concludes with all the final and final happening in the evening session on Sunday.
World number five Price is currently looking for a significant title but might need to overcome world champion Van Gerwen for the very first time at a televised event.
Price, 34, closed the game with some clinical finishing and raced from a Gurney to a 5-1 lead.
World number one Van Gerwen produced it three team wins using a victory over 2018 Champions League of Darts winner Gary Anderson, that had been already out.
In Group B, a eliminator between Smith and Wade saw the players secured at 7-7 until Smith broke the throw with a 90 finish around the bullseye and went on to wrap a 10-8 win.
Wright matched Van Gerwens 100% winning record with a 10-8 victory.
