Adrian Peterson is set to be lead dog, but the Redskins consider the competition for conveys will match the group. Jordan has insisted that a 50/50 or 60/40 split between Peterson and Guice will be ideal, even if All Day hasn’t shared the load successfully in this manner. If Thompson remains healthy, the Redskins have a formulation to get a running back committee which may do harm.
If rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins wins the starting QB gig out of camp, the RB trio will likely be of greater import. Regardless of who lines up under center, expect the Redskins to start the season relying upon the ground game to spearhead the offense until the pass assault rounds into shape.
